Getting started
- Create your account and choose the role you are preparing for.
- Optional: add your résumé so the questions fit your background.
- Allow microphone access when your browser or computer asks.
- Press Start and answer the first question out loud.
- Read your feedback, then press Try again.
Practise well
- Use a headset. It gives clearer sound and fewer mistakes in the text.
- Answer out loud, in full. Saying it is a different skill from thinking it.
- Use STAR for behavioural questions: Situation, Task, Action, Result. Read the STAR guide.
- Repeat the same question. The second and third attempts are where you improve most.
- Put your own words in. Use suggestions as a structure, not a script.
Fixing problems
It does not hear me
- Check that the right microphone is selected in your computer's sound settings and is not muted.
- Allow microphone access for the site or app.
- Close other programs that may be using the microphone, such as a meeting app.
The text does not match what I said
Background noise and distance from the microphone cause most mistakes. Use a headset, a quiet room, and speak at a steady pace.
Feedback seems too harsh or too soft
Feedback is a guide, not a verdict. Use the single priority tip, practise again, and compare your attempts over time.
How do I delete my recordings, résumé or photos?
Open your account settings and choose Delete. Deleted items are removed from your account.
